For LS-series gasoline V8 engine-swap installations only: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 and compatible LS-based 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L and 6.2L engines.
- Chevrolet S10 truck — 1982–2004.
- GMC Sonoma truck — 1982–2004.
- Chevrolet S10 Blazer — 1982–2005.
- GMC Jimmy — 1982–2005.
- Oldsmobile Bravada — 1991–2001.
These vehicle names identify recipient chassis for an LS V8 swap. The headers do not fit the original four-cylinder or V6 engines.
Not compatible with LS4, conventional SBC or BBC engines, or factory column-shift linkage. Larger 4L80E or older THM350 / THM400 bellhousing ears may need trimming. Angled spark-plug boots and minor chassis-specific modifications may be required. Verify steering-shaft and frame clearance.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Auto parts like stainless steel headers naturally develop heat discoloration, oxidation, and road grime over time. Always allow the exhaust to cool completely before cleaning. For routine care, wipe the surface with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive metal cleaner. To restore heavier oxidation, wet-sand gently with soapy water using fine-grit sandpaper (800–1,000 grit), then finish with a quality metal polish. Remove all residue and fingerprints before starting the engine, as oils can stain the surface during heat cycles. A light golden tint after driving is normal and does not affect performance.
